Brigadier Archibald “Archie” Hetherington
This portrait hangs in the foyer of Lancaster Town Hall.

BrigadierHetherington was the Commanding Officer of the Cumbria Garrison, just outside Penrith, back in the days when there was still a separate army and navy, and they had flag officers. His home was in Brougham near King Arthur’s Round Table.
In 2200AD, along with the other Penrith Nobles, at their regular meetings in the Ullswater Country Club, he was instrumental in setting the process in motion to amalgamate the armed services and to abolish his own rank, along with all the other generals and admirals.
In consultation with the others, they devised a system of government for the newly declared territory. Sherlock and BrigadierHetherington penned the new Law and Order Ordinance of Wolfland.
