Mr Ralph Collins (aged 36) is the popular science teacher at Broadland Park High School. His personal passion is the solar system, and if you can get him talking about space travel there’s a chance that he could run out of time to teach an actual science lesson. He knows that his students try this on, and he conscientiously limits the amount of time they can waste to about three minutes.
Every year when the Noble Coliseum hosts the pyjama party he turns up in his pyjamas!
Mr Collins the science teacher marched onto the stage in bright cobalt blue pyjamas decorated with planets and stars. Under his arm he carried an impressively fluffy teddy bear wearing flying goggles. The children giggled immediately. Even the Colonel cracked a smile … so slight it might have been accidental.
Mr Collins cleared his throat. “Good evening, young scholars! Tonight,” he says, pointing grandly towards the stars, “is our legendary Scavenger Hunt and Quiz!”
His teddy bear nods solemnly, for emphasis.
