The Colonel

Colonel Edward (Ed) Kelly, or simply “The Colonel”, is one of the most notable residents of the retirement wing of the Noble Coliseum.

A Manxman who served in the Sidooryn, he retired long before the amalgamation of the services, and he steadfastly refuses to adopt the modern rank of Captain. And although it’s antiquated, he’s perfectly entitled to use the rank of Colonel.

Now aged 75 he’s still in full possession of his faculties, and he’s a perfect gentleman. Officially not involved in the Garrison of Wolfland, he is nonetheless a close friend and confidant of CandiCrush. He’s also a cricket fan who perpetually wears the Lancaster Cricket Club tie. Naturally that ensures that he’s also a good friend of Major Hastings, the president of the club.
