Cathy Sinclair (25 years old) and her husband Peter (26 years old) live in Alexandria House, the senior staff block at the back of the Noble Coliseum. There are about 30 resident retirees in the Trafalgar Wing, and it’s a requirement that an old people’s home has at least one live in nurse who is medically qualified. NurseCathy also looks after about 30 orphans who live in the Blenheim Wing.
AuntSylvie (the boss), though not medially qualified is an excellent companion and the two of them seem to be able to handle all the regular ailments and problems. The Coliseum has a simple, and functional sickbay, augmented by an especially good range of medical texts. AuntSylvie’s (now deceased) younger brother was a ship’s surgeon.
Both NurseCathy and AuntSylvie seem to be effectively on call 24 hours per day, 7 days per week. They are both Scrabble fans and help run the weekly club.
