Sylvie Wilde is the authentic aunt of Hayley, one of the orphans in the Noble Coliseum. Sylvie, better known as AuntSylvie is the boss here.
“Delighted to meet you,” she says, “please call me Sylvie. Though many of the kids just call me Auntie. The older residents call me all sorts of things!”
AuntSylvie is the most patient person on the planet. She copes well with everything and everybody that life can throw at her. She runs the Noble Coliseum in a pragmatic, highly organised way, yet recognises the value of flexibility and compromise.
Not medically qualified, she still maintains an extensive library and knows enough to be a doctor. In practice, she’s more a counsellor and a psychotherapist but she’s not qualified for that job either. Everyone values her knowledge and her opinion. Nobody has a bad word to say about her.
As a release from the challenges of working 24/7 she loves baking cakes and biscuits. She’ll sometimes take time out to join the support team helping to run OpenMike Night. That way she can also enjoy the show, and still help behind the refreshments table. Chocolate chip cookie anyone?
