Better trained and better equipped than the French pirates. So his capture was inevitable really.\u201d<\/p>\n \u201cEscaped death three times,\u201d says M. Troyes \u201cwasn\u2019t caught up in the rebellion in Paris, didn\u2019t die in the famine, and miraculously he wasn\u2019t killed in the Second Battle of Hastings.
